Engine Specs and Performance

The likes of the 2015 Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat have upped the game for muscle cars such that to be considered a challenger, a car has to deliver over 707 hp.

To get such amount of power Hennessey added a 2.9 L supercharger to Mustang’s 5.0 L Coyote V8 engine to up its power output. The first attempt earlier in February using the HPE700 Mustang had reached over 195 mph but craving for the first Mustang to breach the 200 mph, Hennessey went back to the garage and pumped the same V8 engine UP to 774 hp and 648 lb-ft of torque resulting with the HPE750.
