Giving credit where it is due, the 2015 Ford Mustang GT is a great car with an appealing look, pleasant cabin a powerful engine which makes it pretty quick. Despite that, there those of us who just don’t seem to get enough of power in the Mustang GT.
For such fans, their help comes from just outside of Houston, Texas where John Hennessey is adding some serious power to the Mustang and create 2015 Ford Mustang Hennessey HPE750.
2015 Ford Mustang Hennessey HPE750 Exterior
Hennessy begins by restyling the Mustang to look more aggressive and powerful. To do this, Hennessey has equipped the car with carbon fiber upgrades on its exterior. At the front, Hennessy has custom made a Carbon Aero splitter to perfectly fit on the Mustang GT. This adds to the down force at the front end.
At the back, Hennessey has hooked the Mustang with a CarbonAero lip spoiler that enhances the down force to complement the front splitter. On the sides, the new vehicle will feature CarbonAero side sills that give the Mustang a broader profile and intimidating look.
A powerful engine needs high performance wheel, thus, Hennessy has hooked up the Mustang GT with 20-inch wheels that are wrapped with high performing Michelin Pilot Super Sport 2 tires. The vehicle also features 15.1-inch Brembo front rotors for enhanced braking. There is also a high-flow air intake to cool the powerful drivetrain.

Inside the cabin, Hennessey has barely touched anything and the 2015 Ford Mustang interior largely remains the same. The only difference is that Hennessey has added new badging on the headrests and carpets. Also, the HPE750 steering wheel, doors, the shift knob and seats are wrapped in quality leather.
Engine Specs and Performance
The likes of the 2015 Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat have upped the game for muscle cars such that to be considered a challenger, a car has to deliver over 707 hp.
To get such amount of power Hennessey added a 2.9 L supercharger to Mustang’s 5.0 L Coyote V8 engine to up its power output. The first attempt earlier in February using the HPE700 Mustang had reached over 195 mph but craving for the first Mustang to breach the 200 mph, Hennessey went back to the garage and pumped the same V8 engine UP to 774 hp and 648 lb-ft of torque resulting with the HPE750.
With this amount of power, the 2015 Ford Mustang Hennessey HPE750 needs only 3.4 seconds to attain 0-60 mph acceleration. In addition, the Mustang does a quarter mile in 10.9 seconds at 133mph. The vehicle uses a similar 3.15 differential as the one on the HPE700; however, Hennessy took its redline to 7700 rpm which enabled the car to reach a GPS-verified 207.9 mph.
